One day, while on a visit home from college, Harkaran’s family restaurant caught on fire. The experience of helping his family navigate insurance claims and dealing with the aftermath got Harkaran thinking—why aren’t construction businesses working with owners and helping them file claims with their insurance providers? With that thought, Hark Roofing was born. He started the company to help homeowners who had experienced storm damage identify and document the damage for insurance companies, working with homeowners to ensure repair costs are covered. Challenges
